UpavarSha Educational Services (USES) endeavors to provide unbiased academic and career advise to students in grades 9-12 and Bachelor’s degree. Our inspiration is Sri UpavarSha–a teacher from ancient India who taught the predominant language at that time, Sanskrit.
Helping students navigate through their academic journey and designing pathways to facilitate their intellectual growth and financial success is the core mission of USES. We transcend trite practices and prepare students for life after college in the rapidly changing world, buffeted by automation, artificial intelligence, globalization, and post-pandemic dynamics.
The services we offer include:
- Explore student interests, aspirations, and career options and advise on degree options, relevant education, and training.
- Motivate the students to succeed, take responsibility, and community involvement.
- Recommend students with the potential to additional opportunities that will enhance their intellectual experience.
- Provide developmental spaces in which students’ skills are honed and new pathways discovered.
- Emphasize the importance of written and oral communication, time management, and problem-solving and recommend appropriate tutoring/resources.
- Help students navigate the college application process, including relevant academic and extracurricular preparation, selecting colleges, and preparing for standardized tests.
- Explore multidisciplinary research on contemporary and emerging topics with faculty from universities around the world.
